First day of term 2 and we are straight into Anzac day.
Today we read a story about ANZAC. I learned that 70,000 ANZAC soldiers had lost their lives in the war. The Australian Prime Minister at the time of the war was Joseph Cook. The war lasted 8 months. I learned a lot about ANZAC today. I started making a Kahoot with Landon we are still trying to finish it.
Today we made a poi in a group of 3 in room 5. We used paper, plaited leather, sellotape, wool, and scissors. We did this activity
for Te wiki o te reo Maori. I enjoyed making a poi because it was fun.
